Fresh Mango Salsa

Basic Information

Prep Time : 30 min
Serves : 2 people
Yield :Serves 2 as a side for main course or 4 as an appetizer

The combination of sweet and spiciness is so good, you’ll want to eat this with a spoon.


Ingredients

1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and diced (about 1 1/2 cup)
1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped

1 green chile, minced ( including seeds for a hotter taste if desired)
1 Tbsp red bell pepper dice
3 Tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/2 Tsp mint leaves,chopped(optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1] Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
2] Toss well and cover it with a plastic wrap. Set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This helps the flavor to mingle well.
